Our surveying and consultancy services can be delivered as stand-alone projects or used to populate and interact with the Q2 Estate & Facilities Management System.

Space utilisation surveys

Identify how space is utilised, whether time-tables and room bookings are being adhered to and identify opportunities to improve or rationalise the estate.

Electronic utilisation assessments

Use existing Wi-Fi technology as a low-cost alternative to electronic sensors. We work with Estates and IT Departments to validate data and provide adjustment ratios to account for multiple devices. Whether you use sensors or wifi, Q2 EFM will collect and analyse your utilisation data.

Space need analysis

This consultancy service takes the results of space utilisation surveys a step further to produce a full space need analysis and recommendations for the optimum sizes and types of space that are needed by the organisation or institution.

Condition Surveys

We will survey every element and asset of every building and report on its age, condition and replacement year. All long-term maintenance work is costed using the Q2 EFM schedule of rates.

Refurb, Adapt, Replace (RAR) Assessment

This overview survey of all buildings on the estate will provide a prioritised and costed plan that details the refurbishments, adaptations, replacements and disposals required to deliver your Estate Strategy.

Asset Surveys

Our building services engineers will compile your asset register, affix QR or bar codes and assign Uniclass 2015 codes. Outputs will be delivered in the electronic format of your choice or as data within Q2 EFM.

PPM Schemes

PPM schemes (including SFG20) are compiled based on your assets / elements and their statutory / cyclical maintenance and inspections. Results are optionally inserted into Q2 EFM or other PPM software.

Measured surveys and drawings

Our on-site measured surveys and off-site CAD work result in a full picture of the size, types and layout of space across the estate.

Site plans

Site plans can include ground level building footprints and room layouts at every level of the estate.

Space & Compliance Audits

We offer functional suitability, room usage and capacity, occupier information, accessibility, health & safety checks, etc. Checks are tailored to your specific needs.
